Part Time Legal Secretary – Litigation (22.5hrs per week)

We are proud to be supporting a well known Legal Firm in the Maidenhead area, in finding an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team on a long term, temporary basis. 

The hours of work are from 9am to 5.30pm, 3 days per week. (flexible on which days). 

The role is for a minimum 6 months but could be extended to 9 or 12 months depending on the business' needs.

The role will entail:

• Assisting the clients both face to face and over the telephone
• Taking messages and responding to a variety of queries 
• Supporting with audio typing of reports, case notes and correspondence
• Organisation of daily workload and ensuring that deadlines are met
• Diary management & organisation
• Preparing, Proof reading and checking all outgoing correspondence

What skills/experience do you need for this role?

As a Legal Secretary, you will already have a strong legal background, with previous experience working as a Legal Secretary. Candidates without Legal Secretary experience will not be considered. 

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organisational skills, a very keen for detail and very good working knowledge of MS Office suite, together with previous experience of working from a CMS.

The ability to work independently and with use of own initiative will be essential for this role. Training will not be provided and you must therefore be a confident Legal Secretary with previous experience within this position.

Litigation knowledge would be highly advantageous.
